THE CONSTRUCTION SOURCE CANADA Currently, Nick’s Woodcraft em- ploys roughly 35 people, many of whom are members of the Lobello family. Nick’s son Guy Lobello, for example, has been working with the business ever since he was 12 years old. From a young age, he dedicated him- self to continuing his father’s legacy and committed to the trade, becoming an apprentice then journeyman cabinetmak- er, and taking over as Presi- dent of the company when Nick stepped down. Lisa, meanwhile, also grew up around the company, and has worked as the office manager for the last 35 years. Then there are Nick’s grandsons – Nick M. Lobello, and Mike Lobello. The former is currently the compa- ny’s senior estimator, the latter is a project manager, and both have been there for more than 10 years. Other staff members have even more experience. Their produc- tion manager, for example, has been there over 35 years. Sev- eral of their journeymen have been there almost as long. “We have a lot of great team members – a lot of really great cabinetmakers and artists –who we’ve hung on to,” Lisa says. “We haven’t lost many people.
