contact and collaboration. “We see them on the weekly,” Danisha says. “We build a rap- port with them. The more we support them, the more they support us. Those relationships have been really great.” One way the company keeps the relationship strong is by hosting quarterly expos. For example, they’ll do ‘flooring, tiling, cabinets and plumbing’ exhibition one quarter, then a ‘furniture, lighting, wall cover- ing, and fabrics’ exhibition the next. For those, they will bring in reps from all over the nation and showcase their new prod- ucts for clients. They also host product knowledge seminars to encourage growth and con- tinued education for the design community. “We really enjoy those events,” Danisha says. “And as a bonus, they are very effective at keep- ing us up-to-date and keeping us on top of new releases. They help us make sure we’re always offering the latest and most in- teresting products. They keep JUNE 2020 “We don’t take risks.
