Designated Developments, for instance, is a Victoria-based builder defined by their uncompromising attention to detail. They are a new division of Draycor Construction, a longstanding heavy construction firm, and they are dedicated to maintain- ing and building on their parent company’s good name. Since the company commenced, that dedication has been recognized with several industry awards, which we cover in these pages. RFG Plumbing & Electrical has also racked up several awards in only a few years. They are a family-run business servicing resi- dential, commercial, and industrial clients all over Ontario, and they have become known for their unparalleled problem solv- ing abilities. They solve the jobs other plumbers and electricians cannot. We talked with co-founder Ryan Giles, who told us how they pull it off. Nick’s Woodcraft, too, is solutions-oriented and family-run – and has been for more than 50 years. In that time, the Lobello family has been providing Calgary with the best in custom mill- work the city, region, and country has to offer. We spoke with Director Lisa Lobello, who took over from her father Nick. She talked about her family’s long history in cabinetmaking, her fa- ther’s unyielding commitment to quality and customer satisfac- tion, and the company’s commitment to honouring his legacy moving forward.
