And they do it all in-house, which gives them ulti- mate control over quality, every step of the way. “We don’t have any middle- men,” Dawn says. “We do it all here in our manufacturing fa- cility and showroom, which is right here in Oshawa.” All of Rocpal’s work is conduct- ed by experts, and overseen by experienced managers – which includes Fernando Rocchetta, the company’s very-involved founder and president. “We have years and years of experience and passion in our facility,” Dawn says. “Fernando personally cares so much. He has such a great passion for the art of cabinetry. He really looks at everything we put out and makes sure everything is up to his standards.” Rocpal’s exceptional quality is also aided by the company’s state-of-the-art equipment. In early 2019, for example, they acquired a new hot air edge banding machine. With that, they can increase their output while ensuring their products have better durability, longer life, and less chance of delam- ination. More recently, they ac- quired a new Giardina flat line spray coating machine from Ita- ly, which will also improve their output while maintaining their rigorous standards. “It’s about the quality of our service,” she says. “We deliver what our client wants every single time, on time, and the exact way that they ask for it.” JUNE 2020
