The CARE Awards are hosted by the Victoria Residential Building Association (VRBA), and they represent Canada’s leaders in Sustainable West Coast design and construction. Their mission is to highlight the very best of the region’s new homes and renovations. Their selections are made by a panel of experi- enced industry professionals, who judge using criteria includ- ing architectural design, quality workmanship, creative use of space, and energy efficiency. According to Jeremy, the whole team at Designated Develop- ments highly values their recog- nition: “The awards are very cool,” he says. “They show that we’re among the best on Vancouver Island. They recognize the extra time and passion and care we put into our projects.” Last year, Designated Devel- opments was recognized in six categories, including: ‘Best Single Family Detached Home $1,800,000 to $2,100,000,’ ‘Best Outdoor Space over $300,000,’ THE CONSTRUCTION SOURCE CANADA “We’re doing everything we can. We have sup- plied wash stations on every project. There are COVID protocol signs everywhere. We’re minimizing the amount of people on site at any one time. But we’re moving forward, we’re not sitting still.”
