APRIL 2020 From the start, WCC encountered a number of challenges on the job. For example, a large portion of the work was done on the face of the dam spillway, on a 60-degree slope with limited access, which posed logistical challenges as well as safety risks. In addition, the reservoir below the work area contained salmon that were spawning – and the protection of this wildlife and water was a priority.
